How to Scale Objects

3-0.jpg

The following information is a single lesson in a larger Tinkercad project. Check out this and more projects on Tinkercad.

A selected object has white and black handles that allow you to scale an object. Black handles will scale only on one axis. White handles will scale on two axis at a time.

  1. Select the tomato slice and move it on top of the lettuce.
  2. Use the handles to scale the tomato so that its diameter is about half of the burger patty's. Holding SHIFT while scaling will scale the object equally on all axis at the same time.
  3. Go to Edit>Duplicate to make another tomato slice.

Finishing Touches

The following information is a single lesson in a larger Tinkercad project. Check out this and more projects on Tinkercad.

Instructions

  1. Move one tomato a bit higher than the other.
  2. Rotate the higher tomato about 5 degrees. Move it down as needed so it rests on top of the other tomato.
  3. Lastly, move and rotate the top half of the hamburger bun so that it rests on top of the hamburger.

Congratulations!

You made it!
