In today's video we are taking a look at how easy and simple is to replace or install your kitchens Range vent hood. In these easy steps you can be up and going in less the 15 minutes. I ordered this particular vent hood on amazon. It packs 225 cfm which is good to clear any bad odor that may stay in your kitchen if not properly ventilated.

Here are the tools i used

phillips screwdriver

flat head screw driver

ac detector

drill

electrical tape

Step 1

Shut down breaker step

2 Remove Range Hood Electrical box and verify if power is off using ac voltage detector

3 Once noticed that no electricity is present go ahead and disconect vent hoods wiring from home wiring.

step 4 Now that you have removed wiring, go ahead and un screw vent from cabinet or wall step

step 5 Verify you old vent hood opening and match your new vent hood with exact openings, for wires and exhaust. step .

step 6 remove new vent hood's electrical box to give way for new wiring , now you can go ahead and screw new vent hood in old vent hood prior location.

step 7 proceed to connect wiring back. (as stated in manual)

step 8 once wiring is connected, turn on breaker to verify that new instalation is working properly.

step 9 Onced verified go ahead and replace electrical box back to new vent hood.

step 10 congratulations for a job well done.
