Battery Replaceable Hot Glue Gun
I think the rechargeable hot glue gun is a good tool, it only takes 15 seconds to start sticking, and it doesn't take too much time to wait.
After using it for two years, it suddenly cannot be charged. After testing, it was a problem with the 18650 battery, and other parts were still working.
Since the battery must replace, why not be better to transform it into a replaceable battery?
Supplies
Tools
1. electric drill
2. 3mm & 8mm Drill Bits
3. screwdriver (small)
4. soldering iron
5. solder
6. lighter
Material
1. 18650 Power Bank Box
2. Two 18650 lithium batteries
3. wire
4. heat shrink tube
5. Small wooden board 2.5mm thick
6. two M3 screws
7. two M3 nuts
Remove the screws, carefully disassemble the case, and cut off the wires.
Prepare a 18650 power bank box.
Make a small wooden board with a thickness of 2.5mm, that can be inserted into the hot glue gun bottom cover, and drill two 3mm holes in it.
Use two M3 screws and nuts to pass through the power bank case and the small wooden board.
Lock the nut, connect the bottom cover + wood board+ battery box, and drill an 8mm hole in the middle after locking (for the wire to pass through)
Try to assemble.
The gun shell should be correctly inserted into the bottom cover.
The wood board is to fill the gap between the bottom cover and the battery box, which can avoid damage when locking the screws and is easier to assemble.
Solder the wires and wrap them with heat shrink tubing.
Weld the positive and negative poles of the battery box.
Install 2 18650 batteries.
Done.
In this way, when the power is insufficient, there is no need to recharge and wait, as long as the battery is replaced, you can continue to use it immediately, isn't it more convenient?
