How to Remove Heat & Water Damage From Furniture
In this instructable, I will teach you how to remove cloudy, white marks from wood furniture. Whether the marks are from a cold drink or a hot bowl, this method will do the trick. You can watch the 1 minute video above to see how I do this, or keep reading below.
Gather Your Supplies
For this project, I used:
- Iron https://amzn.to/2I7p0D2
- Olive Oil https://amzn.to/2OF4Q4z
- Non-stick Pressing Cloth https://amzn.to/2HRbbJL
Iron
First, I place a non-stick pressing cloth on top of the spot I wish to remove. Then I set my iron to dry and cotton and use it on the spot for 5 seconds, making sure to keep the iron moving.
Oil
I then use a paper towel to apply olive oil to the spot I just heated. This prevents the iron from damaging the table.
Repeat
I continue to iron and apply oil 5 seconds at a time until the spot has lifted. I move around the whole table working in small sections until all the spots are gone.
Finished!
And that's all it takes to remove the white marks from furniture! If you enjoyed this tutorial, please consider following me on Instructables and subscribing to my Youtube channel to see more content like this. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMQQAmEG3HaUyNFHi...
