Photoshop Tutorial - How to Remove Anything From an Image
Hi,
this is my second Instructable, in this one I will show you how to remove anything from a picture using only the Patch tool and Content Aware.
The link for the Photo I've used is available through the link below.

Open up Photoshop, in this tutorial I'm using Photoshop cc 2017. If you want to have a try before you buy you can download a free 7 day trial directly from Adobe using the following link. www.adobe.com/uk/downloads.html
As you can see from the pictures, the results you can get with Photoshop are well worth taking your time..
Enjoy the tutorial and stay tuned for the next one.

These Are the Items We Want to Remove
First things first, these are the elements on the image that we are going to remove..
8 items altogether...
Select Items on Image to Replace
Select the Patch tool as per Picture 1, making sure that Content Aware is selected.
Draw a selection round the base of the light pole as per image 2 and move your selection to another part of the image as per image 3, the initial selection will change depending on where you move the patch to.
When you are happy with how the patch selection, take your finger off the mouse button.
The Patch-Content Aware tool will generate a fill based on this information and you should be left with something like image 4.
Using this technique continue through the rest of the photo.
We Are Going to Widen the Image Using Crop-Content Aware
Select the crop tool making sure the Content Aware option is ticked as per image 1 and 2.
Grab the left middle handle of the crop and pull slightly to the left, this will create a transparent area as per image 3, that when ticked or double clicked as per image 4, Content Aware crop will generate a fill for this area.
Image 5 shows what the Content Aware crop can do, basically this replicates a similar fill directly adjacent to the cropped area. There will be some inconsistencies but this can easily be remedied.
Using the Patch Tool to Complete the Image
When we have finished using the Crop Content Aware tool to extend the left and right of the image, we need to once again use the patch tool to clear up the irregularities left over from our cropped image, see image 1.
Select the Patch tool and remove the duplicated image from image 1, again working at small sections at a time like image 4.
This same process can be used to clear any other issues that you can see with this image.
The last image, image 7 is the final product.
More Instructables will follow soon...
Thanks for once again taking the time to go through this tutorial and please feel free to leave any comments.
Cya on the Next one..
