How to Regrow Celery at Home
Have you ever wanted to grow vegetables, but you can’t because your family doesn't have a farm? In fact, you actually can! Regrowing celery (or other vegetables) is easy to do and doesn’t take that much work. This instructable is talking about celery, not any other vegetables.
Supplies
- Full celery (not a stick of celery)
- Water
- Clear cup that can fit the celery
- A sunny place
- Measuring tap
Cutting & Moving
- Take your full celery and cut off the celery sticks. Make sure that the remaining celery is flat on the top.
- Put the celery in the clear cup. (again, make sure that the cup can fit the celery)
Filling
- Fill with water until the water reaches the top of the celery’s roots.
- Move the cup to a sunny place.
Measuring & Waiting
- Measure the celery. How tall is it? Seven, eight centimeters?
- Wait 1 day.
- Check on the celery again. Any difference? Not really? Measure it. Is it taller? Yes? No? If not, then wait another day and measure again.
Tips and Tricks
- Replace water if not growing
- Once the celery is big enough, you can eat the part that had grown!
Congratulations! You have just regrown celery
