Starting Up the Oven
The first thing to do before we start powder coating is to turn on the oven with power switch, which is located on the side of the oven, after the oven kick on set the oven to the desired temperature, which is normally 350 to 450 degrees.
Prepping
While the oven is heating to the temperature that was set, start prepping your materials. First, put all of the materials that are need to be powder coated on a hanging rack, after this power wash them with an acid wash (this takes off any kind of ruse before you do your powder coating), after its been properly washed we can transfer them into the oven for about 5 minutes, after this, transport the rack with the materials in the powder coat booth.

Paint Time
Now the messy part come into play, figure out what color of powder your parts should be, then place about 1 to 2 small bucket full to the powder coat bin, turn the knobs all the way counter clock-wise on the machine that feeds the powder to the spray gun, afterwards attach the ground clamp to the rack that the parts are hanging from.
Curing the Powder
Next, we can spray the parts on both sides with smooth, even strokes until a strong coat of powder is on them, after this transfers the rack back into the over, latch the door and wait for about 30 minutes to let the power bake onto the steel. After the 30 minutes are successfully done, remove the rack out of the oven and let them sit for about 5 minutes, so they are touchable to take off the rack, at this time we should have a nice, glossy, smooth finish.
Cleaning
Finally, start the clean-up process, this is always a must do, because if a different color is used later, it will leave flecks of any other color on the next run of powder coating we may do.
