How to Make 番茄炒蛋

番茄炒鸡蛋 (fan qie chao dan) is a very common Chinese home recipe, it is very easy to make and is also one of my favorite dishes.
Step 1: Prepare Ingredients

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- one tomato
(the ratio of eggs and tomato can be changed according to personal preferences.)
- oil
- salt
- hot water
- knife
optional:
- green onion (optional)
Step 2: Soak Tomato in Hot Water

This is simple and easy to peel tomatoes.
Start of by cutting a cross at the bottom of the tomato using a knife.
Then, but the tomato in a bowl, and fill it with hot boiling water.
Let it sit for around 3 minutes
Step 3: Peel the Tomato

After three minutes, take the tomato out of the bowl and peel the skin off of the tomato. This should be very easy, if you find it difficult, you can soak the tomato for longer.
Step 4: Cut Tomato

Cut tomato into eight pieces.
Step 5: Mix Egg

Crack two eggs into a bowl and mix together until the egg white and egg yolk are fully combined.
Step 6: Scramble Egg
Place a pan on the stove, turn the stove on and add oil to the pan.
Pour the egg into the pan and make scrambled eggs.
Once done, put the scrambled egg into a bowl.
Step 7: Cook the Tomato

In the same pan that is now empty, add oil and put in the tomato.
Step 8: Add Water to the Pan

Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan.
Add half a tablespoon of salt to the pan.
Step 9: Add Egg

Once the tomato becomes soft, add the scrambled eggs from earlier into the pan.
Mix evenly.
Step 10: Put in Bowl

Once the eggs and tomato have been mixed evenly, it is done.
Pour it into a bowl and sprinkle sliced green onions if you want.
