Words can’t convey how ridiculously easy they are to make and yet how seriously impressive the outcome. It must be the most glorified ‘ham & cheese’ sandwich EVER but it can be made in minutes and put a smile on everyone’s face. That’s a powerful sandwich recipe to have in your arsenal!

Here is what you will need to serve 2 people.

  • 2 Large Croissants
  • 2-3 Slices of Gouda Cheese
  • 2 Large/4 Small Slices of Prosciutto
  • 1 tsp Honey Mustard
  • 3 tsp Olive Oil

Essential Equipment

  • Baking Tray
  • Pastry Brush

Start by preheating your oven to 190°C/Fan 180°C.

Carefully slice your croissants in half lengthways and lay in a slice of gouda. If it’s too big, just slice it in half. Don’t worry if it pokes out a bit, it all adds to the appeal!

Add Some Prosciutto...

Feeling indulgent? Yeah, go on then – get another slice of cheese on there!

To make the glaze, simply mix the honey mustard and olive oil together in a pot. Then generously brush it all over each croissant. Come on , don’t be shy – slap it on!
