How to Make an Ultimate Minecraft TNT Cannon
Using a Command Block, I created a TNT cannon that fires nearly ten TNT blocks a second. This cannon can be used for defending a base, destroying your enemies, or anything in between.
Supplies
To make the TNT cannon, you'll need a command block, eight blocks of obsidian, eleven dirt blocks, and a lever. The cobblestone blocks are optional, but I'll use them to make a little castle that the TNT cannon will destroy. If you can't get the command block, type into chat: /give @p command_block
Building the Cannon: Part One
Build a pillar of dirt ten blocks up and place a command block on top of that. On top of that command block, place the last block of dirt.
Building the Cannon: Part Two
Surround the block of dirt with obsidian on all sides except for one. Then, break the dirt block that's surrounded by the obsidian.
Setting Up the Command Block
Open the command block. On PC, this is always right click, and on mobile just click the command block. Set the Block Type to Repeat. Type into the command input: /summon tnt
Starting the Cannon
Break the dirt block directly under the Command Block and place a lever there. Surround the command block with four obsidian blocks to protect it from TNT explosions. Don't pull the lever yet, we're still going to build a little cobblestone castle!
Creating the Cobblestone Castle
Now we'll create a little cobblestone castle, around fifty blocks from the cannon. Nothing fancy, just to test the power of the cannon.
Starting the Cannon
Pull the lever to start the cannon. As you can see, the cobblestone castle is quickly annihilated.
Stopping the Cannon
You can leave the cannon on as long as you want. To stop it, simply pull the lever and wait a few seconds. Occasionally, the lever will be destroyed by the explosions. If that happens, the cannon will stop, and you can simply place and pull another lever.
