How to Make an Iron Man Helmet Ornament
If you are looking for a way to spice up your tree, then this home made Iron Man ornament is for you. This strategy can really be used to make any ornament if and only if you have the right templates. Please enjoy my tutorial on how to make this beautiful and unique ornament.
Materials
For this project you will need red and yellow card stock, printer paper, a sharpie, a cotton ball, an exacto blade, and the templates to make the helmet.
Printing the Templates
For this step all you need to do is print the templates that have been provided above, onto your red and yellow card stock. You will need to print them both at scale 45. Now take your exacto blade and cut the templates out.
Gluing the Two Templates Together, and Making the Santa Hat
Once you glue the two templates to each other, take a long thin piece of card stock, make a loop, and attach it to your helmet with hot glue. Now you will need to make a Santa hat to go with the Christmas theme. Take your cotton ball and separate it into a large piece and a small piece. Roll up a tiny bit of red card stock into a cone, and hot glue the big cotton ball piece to the bottom, and the smaller piece to the top. Once that is done attach it to the top of the helmet.
Finishing Touches
Cut out the eye holes on the mask. For a little extra to finish off your mask, you can put a clear nail polish coating on and/or hot glue a little light to the inside of your mask to create the effect that the eyes are glowing.
