Get the Kitchen Ready

You will need to place the cutting board in an open space for cutting some of the ingredients into pieces. You will also have to turn on one of the stoves in the kitchen. If you have an electric-based stove and oven, simply turn one of the stoves to medium heat level and put the frying pan on top. If you have a gas-based stove and oven, turn up one of the stoves to medium level and quickly light a small fire within the stove to prevent a gas leak using a lighter or match.

Start Preparing

Add one tablespoon of olive oil inside the pan as it heats up. Make sure that the oil is spread around most of the frying pan. Let it heat up for 15 seconds and then cut a small piece of butter about the height of your finger laid down and 1 inch wide on the cutting board. Place it in the pan and let it melt and mix with the oil.

Break and Pour the Egg

As the butter melts, break the egg inside a sink, and release the egg whites and yolk inside the pan. Let it fry until the egg insides start to harden. Use the pan to drag it and stir it around a bit so that the egg does not stick to the frying pan.

Prepare the Bread

Open the bread on the cutting board and put as much ketchup as you desire in the lower half of it. Place the bread on a plate while you prepare the cheese on the cutting board. Cut thin slices of cheese and then place them on top of the ketchup inside the bread.

Put It All Together

You may now turn off the stove that was used for frying the egg as it is fried by now. Then, with caution, take the frying pan out of the stove and make sure the bread is open on the plate, so you can slide the egg off the pan. If there is any oil inside the pan left just pour it on the inside of the bread. You may add any additional ingredients you desire inside such as salt, mustard, mayonnaise, and sliced tomato. Close the bread once you are done and it will be complete. Enjoy your meal!
