How to Make a Wooden Spice Box?

These beautiful boxes I made for different spices

That’s why they’re so small, you can build whatever size you need

I made this with hand tools .

The composition of these woods is unique

Tools:

1-saw

2-angle mold

3- pencil

4. Ruler

5-clamp

6. Wood glue

7. Paper glue

8. Wood oil

Used wood:

Ayous Wood

doorbox sticks :

1-Paddock Wood

2-African walnut

3-black walnut

4-Maple

I have two pieces of wood to make the box body

which are equal in size

For the box doors to sit right inside the box and to open and close

have no problem

I create a groove in the box body

to do this using sandpaper

I find a piece of flat wood and fasten it to my own wood

I sanded several times on the job

I do box cutting work using this template

In the next step, I will collect the boxes in order of size together

These four pieces of wood I chose for this box doors

In the first place, I cut the piece of wood to the desired size

Then I start with the help of sanding or file, in the initial way that I did, to create edges for the doors

At the end of the day I sand up and start to apply wood oil
