First of all, I drew the ceiling of the lamp. Sorry, I don’t have drawings, all the plans are in my head). Using a band saw, I cut out the lampshade

I made the base of the lamp round. I used 22mm plywood.

I took 4 pieces:

- 4 strips of 30mm wide by 400mm long pieces

You can vary the length of the strips according to how long you want the lamp necks to be, as with the base. Do take note that if you make the strips too long and the base too short, it will cause stability problems with the lamp.

I used a bottle cap to add some radius on the corners. using a saw, cut the edges and cleaned with sandpaper

Using my router table i copied the rounding for all planks

P.s. Here's a video of how i built my mini trimmer table

Align two strips of wood and mark out the centre of the intersection of the two pieces and drill a hole

This is to make sure that the joint will fit nicely and have a good structural integrity.

Using my edge router, I made a recess for the LED strip. The tape will be covered with acrylic glass

For the design I wanted the arms to have a space in the middle but you could keep them solid. Еo cut the spaces in the middle of the arms i used my router table.

I painted the lamp shade and base with white paint, and left the arms in the natural color of the wood. Just varnished them

I hid the LED driver in the base of the lamp and covered it with 4mm thick plywood. I didn't paint the plywood, I just varnished it.

On the neck down strip of wood, I drill 8mm hole through the half depth of the wood as shown.

Your wire would be threaded through these 2 new wire holes.

Thread your wire through the lamp neck top, starting from the first hole going down to the base as shown. You can vary the way in which the wire goes through the lamp according to your preferences.

I used acrylic glass to bury the LED strip. Using sandpaper, I rounded the corners and installed it in the lampshade.
