This craft is quick and easy to do! This squishy triangle could be a fun thing to make on a rainy day or even as a gift.

Supplies

  • two pieces of felt for the body
  • one piece of felt for face(optional)
  • poly-fil stuffing
  • Thread
  • needle

Step 1: Cut Out Shapes

The first thing you need to do to make this squishy friend is to cut two pieces of felt into triangular shapes or any shape you might want to make. I do suggest drawing an outline of whatever shape you decide to do. After cutting out the two main pieces you can outline a face for your stuffed shape. Do whatever kind of face you want. It can be cute or scary, big or small. Be creative!

Step 2: Sewing

Before sewing the main pieces of material together sew on the face of your stuffed animal. You can use any type of stitching you'd like! After sewing the face onto your shape you can start sewing together your main two pieces of material. I suggest using an overcast stitch, it will make the final product look nice and neat. Make sure you leave an opening you can use to stuff your material.

Step 3: Stuffing

The last step for your squishy companion is...STUFFING!!! First you need to turn your material inside out. Then gradually fill up your shell with handfuls of stuffing. Fill you stuffed shape with as much filling as you want but make sure you leave enough room to close the opening. When you've stuffed the shape to your squishy preference sew up the opening in the material.

Now You Have a Cute and Squishy Shape!
