How to Make a Wig Stand

I love wearing wigs! As I've gotten more into them, I've started buying more expensive wigs. I just don't feel comfortable throwing them on the shelf anymore, and I don't have space for a bunch of creepy styrofoam heads. This is an inexpensive and space-efficient way of hanging wigs so they retain their shape and stay in good condition. This is my first instructable and I can't figure out how to rotate the images, but I hope you enjoy!

A plastic grocery bag, some paper for recycling, and some masking tape.

Fill the bag with crumpled up paper until you think it's about the size of your head.

Twist the bag and tape the end down. But make sure you leave the tops of the handles hanging, because we'll be taping them to something else later.

Squeeze all the air out and rearrange the paper in the bag until it's roughly head-shaped. Use tape to help form the shape.

Find a location where it'll be convenient for you to hang your wigs. I chose the wall next to my closet.

Take the tabs of the handles you left hanging and tape them to the wall. Test to make sure they're hanging securely, then hang your wigs!

In this picture, I've only done two, but I'm going to do more for the rest of my wigs. If you guys can think of improvements for this project, I'd love to hear them!
