In this tutorial I'm going to show you guys how to use washi tape and a bobby pin to create super- cute hair bows, perfect for any age, but especially great for little girls. I hope you enjoy!

You Will Need

Grab your washi tape. Cut a strip about 2 and a half inches long and make a tape loop, sticky side in. Press the tape loop together so you get a strip of un-sticky tape. ( see photos )

Cut a strip the same size and lay it over top of the loop, so that about a third of a centimeter overlaps. Tuck in the edges. This step is hard to explain, so looking at the photos might be easier.

Fold your rectangles in half the short way. Cut a very thin triangular shape off of the sides, using the photos as a guide. Unfold the shape and squish up the middle of it, so that it looks like a bow. Wrap a thin strip of tape around the middle to finish.

Now we're going to attach the bobby pin. Slip the flat side inside the loop you made with the thin strip of tape. Then grab your glue or polish and dab a tiny bit on each side of the loop. Be careful not to glue the pin together!

And you're done! Great job. ;) These bows are adorable, and they make a great gift! Enjoy! To make a split bow like the blue one I have, cut a slit in the rectangle from each side before scrunching the middle.
