This is a short and simple way to make a warrior cats OC (Original Character)

Supplies

Pencil, paper, computer (optional)

Make a Prefix

A prefix is the beginning of a warrior's name and they keep this name throughout their whole life unless the leader formally changes their name (Stormkit to Crookedkit, Flamepaw to Nightheart)

The prefix MUST be something that a cat would know of, living in the wild their whole life. It isn't normally the name of a Clan, but there are some exceptions (Windflight, Shadowsight)

Examples of some good prefixes: Grass, Light, Spider, Owl, Moth, Flower, Rose, Red, Gray

Examples of some bad prefixes: Dragon, Blanket, Door, Hand, Unicorn, Car

Make a Suffix

A suffix is the end of a warrior's name, and they change this throughout their life. As a kit (or kitten) their prefix is followed by the suffix 'kit (Grasskit, Featherkit). As an apprentice, their prefix is followed by 'paw (Grasspaw, Featherpaw), when they become a warrior, their prefix is usually followed by a part of their body that makes them unique (tail, pelt, fur, leg, foot, whisker, eye), or reflects their personality (light, feather, willow, claw, heart, petal) and usually means something. Claw means they're fierce and good at fighting. Heart could mean they're brave and loyal. Breeze could mean they are quiet and swift. When a cat becomes a leader they have 'star as its suffix.

Make a Look

The cat looks range from pure white to a busy tabby and everything in between. Warrior cats don't normally have the usual designs, like siamese. They normally have a mix of a lot of breeds, like gray tabby with black stripes, or Yellow with white speckles. Think of one that you think would fit your cat. You can even base it on the cat's name, or vice versa. Make sure you also describe the eye color.

Some eye colors: Hazel, blue, gray, green, bright green, blue-green, yellow, orange, amber

Draw Your Character

Drawing your cat is probably one of the most important steps. It helps you to look back at your cat and remember what it looks like and its name in the future.
