How to Make a Unique Birthday Card

These are the materials needed to make the instructable.

• A3 Coloured paper (your choice of colour)
• Colouring in pencils ·
• Scissors ·
• Normal pencil ·

• Rubber ·
• Pens ·
• Glue

Next with a pencil, (on the Front of the card) write “Happy Birthday to you” in any font you want. When you have done that, trace with pen.

If you haven’t made any mistakes, you can start adding colours on the card. Make sure it is nice and colourful. You can decorate the front of the card as much as you want. You can add a number on the front if you wish.

Now it is time to make the balloon for inside the card. Get an A4 sheet of paper and place it in the middle of the card. Next fold the A4 sheet in half and put glue on the side of the paper and stick it down on the bottom of the card. Then adjust the glued sides so that they can fold. It should look like a present box. You can decorate it as much as you want.

Now we will make the balloons. Start cutting a strip of paper and cut it in a wavy way to make the string of the balloon. Then stick the string under the box. You can make as many balloons as you want as long as it fit onto the card. Now start cutting the top of the balloon out with a different colour of paper. Then stick them onto the strings and if you wish you can add a number on them.

When the balloon is finished, write “I wish you a Happy Birthday” in the middle of the card so you only need to write “To person, from person.”
