This is a very simple sunset drawing that you can re-create in a jiffy if you are ever bored! Let's get started!

Getting Started

When you open the app, at the bottom you will see a plus symbol, press on that.

Press new sketch

Once you press new sketch, I kept it at 718 and 718 to make it a square piece of paper. You can also rotate the page by pressing on the icon on the right side (circled in blue)

How to Make a Perfect Circle

You will see a fresh page after this. At the top (circled in blue) allows you to insert shapes. You will see a circle, you must press on that

Then you must tap the page and drag your stylus pen or finger to the bottom, you will see a dotted line in the shape of a circle. Adjust it till you think it is perfect (doesn’t matter if it isn’t in the correct spot, we shall fix that)

On the left side of the shape icon is target sort of symbol once you press on that symbol you can move the circle around and place it in the perfect spot. Once you think it is in the perfect spot press done.

Adding a New Layer

On the right you will see a page with a circle on it. This is called a layer, you can lock this layer so that you can make sure when you are erasing other details, nothing happens to the circle. You lock this layer by pressing on the lock at the bottom.

Once you lock it, add a new layer by pressing the plus sign at the top.

Time to Colour!

Now comes the time to colour. On the left you will see many drawing tools, to start off, you will need to use the pen. There is also a bar that you can move up and down to adjust the size of the pen (as shown in the picture) Move the bar up completely to reach the biggest size

Once you have selected the size and tool, press the black circle to change the colour of the ink

Change it to a yellow like the one in the picture

Colouring the Base

Colour the top bit yellow (it doesn’t matter if you go out of the lines or over the black outline of the circle)

We will fix the messy yellow though. Firstly, press the first layer again (the one with a circle on it) and drag it above the layer with yellow on it. Secondly, select the eraser tool and rub out the parts which are going out of the lines. (make sure you select the layer with the yellow after you drag the circle)

Add the Other 3 Colours

Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.36.21.png
Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.36.26.png

Add the other three colours in the order of the picture and erase the parts which go outside the lines (on the layer with the yellow)!!!

Blending the Colours

Next, we are going to use a new tool, the blender, you can identify it as it has a swirl on top. Make the size of the blender 38.8. First, blend the borders of each colour so the yellow with the orange, orange with the salmon colour and the salmon colour with the red.

Once you finish blending, the colours may go out of the line a little, use the eraser to fix this

Making the Sunset

Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.36.42.png
Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.36.44.png

Once you are done with this, add another layer, (don’t forget to lock the previous one!) we will use a blood red colour this time.

Draw with this colour like in the picture above and add orange and yellow afterwards as shown.

Using the blender blend the colours (go in the same direction you start with, (don’t change it)

Making the Mountains

Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.34.18.png
Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.36.46.png

Once that is done, lock this layer and add a new layer. Change the colour of the pen to black

Make a black like in the middle and draw an outline of a few mountains on the top of the line, then repeat the same drawing at the bottom.

Colour this in with black and add a little grey at the top. Blend the grey with the black using the blender. It should look like the picture above. If you feel like the colours are going out of the lines don't be afraid to use the eraser!

Making a Border

Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.36.54.png
Screenshot 2022-01-05 at 11.36.57.png

Lock this layer and add one final layer. Like you did in the beginning, make another circle (this time smaller than the first one). Once you think it is decent size, move it like you did in the beginning like shown in the picture. Colour in the space remaining in between the 2 circles like you can see in the picture.

In the picture you can see the final product

Finishing It Off

Finally, at the top (last icon to the left) will allow you to save your work. Press this icon and press gallery afterwards. Then press save to gallery, and your painting is complete!
