Warning 220v Danger
be very careful when operating under mains voltage one mistake and that's it so disconnect the wires
before you start experimenting be safe than sorry.
Parts for the Stroboskop
You will just need a gu10 connector that you can find in DIY shops or electrical equipment stores
and a neon starter 1-2 £ so you just have to connect them in series with the main voltage
and in the gu10 connector, you can experiment with multiple bulbs.
In the video, i try a 50w incandescent one a 3.5w led, and another 0.75w led
i did find out that the incandescent works best but you can try more bulbs even colored ones.
The Diagram and Bulbs
A strobe light or stroboscopic lamp, commonly called a strobe, is a device used to produce regular flashes of light. It is one of a number of devices that can be used as a stroboscope. The word originated from the Greek strobos, meaning "act of whirling."
A typical commercial strobe light has a flash energy in the region of 10 to 150 joules, and discharge times as short as a few milliseconds, often resulting in a flash power of several kilowatts. Larger strobe lights can be used in “continuous” mode, producing extremely intense illumination.
The light source is commonly a xenon flash lamp, or flash tube, which has a complex spectrum and a color temperature of approximately 5,600 kelvins. To obtain colored light, colored gels may be used.
