Christmas is approaching and we are all getting our jolly spirits ready for it. If you want to have something thoughtful to give your family or friends alongside your gift then you should consider making them a Christmas card. You could also make a card to send to someone long distance if you want to show them how you are still thinking about them during the holidays. This tutorial is easy and quick, a card like this can be easily made without requiring any special materials.

Supplies

- An A4 white paper

- coloured pencils/markers

- A black pen and pencil

- Decorative supplies - Washi tape, stickers, glitter etc. (OPTIONAL)

Fold Your Paper

Start with your piece of a4 paper and fold it in half horizontally as precisely as possible, do this by folding the corners together, there should be a crease in the middle as shown in the photograph.

Sketch and Outline

Draw a basic sketch of your title page in pencil, you could do it in a similar way as shown in the photo with a title and a drawing, or in your own way. Some examples could be using paint, writing or in 3D. Once you are happy with your sketch outline it if needed.

Colour in Title Page and Add Details

Now colour/fill in your outline and add on any finishing touches or extra details. You could be very creative about it by doing things like using special fonts or adding in bright and vibrant colours.

Write a Note or Letter

Now write something to the person this card is for, you could write about anything you want, maybe something that reaches out to them.

Fill in the Other Page

Then you could fill in the blank page, if you don't want to do this you can also skip this stage. You can make a drawing, quote, poem, something 3D, something painted or really anything you want to fill in this page.

Add Finishing Touches
