How to Make a Simple Taser With 3 Components
So, here's blog of making a simple taser with three components. It's really simple it's just made out of three components. Actually, more than three components. And those components are a step up transformer, a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) relay and batteries. Without wasting anymore time let's get started.

Here's the circuit that I used in the taser. Before I start to make this let me describe how it works.
Relay
I'm using 'EVERY CIRCUIT' application. It's for Android. I don't know the developers designed the app for IOS or not. So, find it out yourself if you're a IOS user.
This is a symbol of a Single Pole Double Throw Relay (SPDT) relay. It has a normally opened contact and a normally closed contact and a coil (Electromagnet) which activates the contacts when it is energized. In order, to work as an oscillator the relay must be wired as shown in the 2nd picture. The current flows from the battery through the coil and also the LED (Light Emiting Diode) then to the normally closed contacts and back to the battery. When the coil is energized, the contact moves and this inturps the flow of current. However, without current the coil is deenergized and the contact returns to it's original position. And then the current flows again and the cycle repeats again and again.
When the coil is energized, the contact moves and this creates an osilation which looks like this (Look at the 2nd and 3rd picture's isolation). Because of this osilation the led turns on and off.

Transformer
Now, replace the led with a step up transformer in order to create high voltage from a low voltage source. What's a transformer? A transformer is basically device that steps up or steps down voltage and current. It is basically made out of two or more than two inductors. IT'S OUTPUT TO INPUT VOLTAGE RATIO IS PROPORTIONAL TO THE SECONDARY TO PRIMARY WINDING NUMBER OF TURNS. And it only works with AC (Alternating Current). So, if the secondary to primary turn ratio is 100, if I apply 10v AC at the input, I'll get 1000v AC at the output. Now, for my transformer, I used this one (3rd picture) which I got from a battery charger. It has a secondary to primary turn ratio of around 19 (Np = 19*Ns). So, if I switch the input to the output, the voltage will be 19 times more than the input. Now, if I connect three 3.7v battery in series, I'll get somewhere around 12 volts DC (Direct Current). If I put 12v AC on the primary I'll get get somewhere around 230 volts AC. I know it's not enough voltage compared to other tasers. But It's just a simple taser made out of batteries, a relay and a transformer. WHAT DO YOU EVEN EXPECT??
On the fourth picture I mentioned the equation of transformer. So, you can make your own or do some other thing you want.

Osilating Wavefroms
I forgot to say that, you don't always need a proper AC current (look at the first picture) to use a transformer. A relay's osilation which looks like this, (look at the 2nd picture) can also get the job done. Here's the circuit I used (look at the 3rd picture).
Do Some Connections and Get It Done.
I used two plastic scale pieces as the main body. Now, connect the batteries in series and the push button switch and use some hot glue. And now the project is complete. I think you should watch the video on my channel about this taser.
