How to Make a Simple DIY Bluetooth Speaker

Hello, Guyz! In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how you can make a simple Bluetooth speaker from Scratch. It's a small and so cheap Bluetooth Speaker.

It's a small BT speaker but please don't go its size. This speaker is really loud and it can deliver punchier bass.

This is a perfect companion for travel cause of its ultraportable size.

The Things We Need

This speaker requires very minimum parts to build this speaker. I used my old stuff and it makes the speaker so Cheap.

The Parts List:

  • 3W Speaker
  • Mono Bluetooth And Amplifier Module
  • 3ps Tactile Button
  • 1ps Slide Switch
  • 2000mAh Li-ion battery
  • Some wires
  • Fairness cream container

Tools & Equipments:

  • Soldering Iron
  • Cutter
  • Glue Gun
  • Masking Tape
  • Marker Pen
  • Compass
  • Spray Paint

Make Circle

Take the measurement of speaker's diameter and note down it. Draw hole exactly same size as speaker's diameter by using maker and compass. Don't make bigger hole otherwise speaker won't get fit in it.

Cut the Hole for Speaker

Now we're going cut the hole. Simply use your cutter to cut the hole slowly and carefully. After cut the hole use sandpaper and rub the inside of the hole to makes the edges smooth.

Mount Speaker

First position the speaker on the upper panel, Then apply a thick layer of hot glue around the edges of the speaker. Make sure that speaker is 100% airtight.

Solder All Components

First, we'll start by solder all the wires to BT Module. Then Solder wires to the speaker, battery and switches.

Mount All the Components

Now it's time to mount all the components. First, attach all the switches by using hot glue and then attach other components like BT module, battery, etc

Attach the Upper Part

Now we're going to attach the upper part. Apply a thin layer of superglue around the edges of the lower part then attach the upper part. After that press and hold it still for a minute.

Paint Time

Paint your BT speaker with your favourite Colour. First, we'll cover the speaker and other stuff with masking tape. Then use spray colour to paint the speaker. I'm using here matte black colour.

Add Rubber Feet

Add rubber feet to reduce vibration while placing it to any flat surface.
