With this you can play music from your iPod or mp3 player on your TV or amplifier! It is extremely easy to make and it is also a very cheap project. You plug the 3.5 mm audio plug into your iPod or mp3 player and you plug the 2 RCA plugs into your TV or amp. If you have any questions then post it in the comments.

To make this cord all you need is:

Two RCA cables (These are the yellow, white, and red cables. You can get these for under $2.)
3.5 mm Audio Plug (This it the plug on the end of your headphones. You can cut it off a pair of ear buds or headphones. You can also buy one at radio shack)
Solder and soldering iron (Optional, If you don't have one then you can use tape to connect the wires).
Electrical tape
Scissors or wire strippers

Follow the circuit diagram to make it. If you are using a 3.5 mm audio plug from a pair of headphones then there are four wires coming from it. Two are grounds for each of the RCA plugs and one is the right channel and one is the left channel. For my headphones the right and left channels were in green and white insulation while the two grounds were bare copper wires.

Now it is time to plug it in and listen to your music!
