How to Make a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

Well, I can help by sharing this recipe that will have people talking for days. Making this recipe will leave you and your guests feeling full and satisfied. I’m going to show you in 4 easy steps how to make my homemade pork tenderloin sandwich.

Step 1: Gathering Ingredients

First, gather the ingredients. The ingredients needed will be Lawry’s salt, 2 boxes of saltine crackers, eggs, thin cut pork chops, and vegetable oil for cooking. After preparing the food, the ingredients needed will be buns, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings. For tools, you will need a meat tenderizer, a cast iron pan, and a set of tongs.

Step 2: Preparing Ingredients

Secondly, prepare the ingredients. Start by flattening and tenderizing the pork chops. Use either a handheld meat mallet or a commercial meat tenderizer. The pork chops should be flattened to about a ½ of an inch thick. Next for preparing the ingredients, crush up the saltine crackers into a bowl and mix in a couple shakes of Lawry’s salt. Also crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them until the yolks and whites are completely combined. At this time, also pour about an 1/8 of an inch of vegetable oil into the pan and start heating it to 350⁰F. If a thermometer is not available for the oil, turn the stove onto medium heat. To ensure the oil is hot and ready, dip your fingers in some water and splash a couple drops into the oil. If the oil sizzles and spits, it is ready.

Step 3: Combine Ingredients

Thirdly, combine ingredients and start the cooking process. Start by drenching the tenderized pork in the whisked egg. Then completely coat your meat in the saltine-Lawry’s salt mixture. Repeat these steps one more time for a better coating and place into the hot oil. Fry until brown on one side and then flip until the other side is the same golden-brown color as the other side. Repeat these steps until all of the tenderloins are cooked.

Step 4: Prepare for Serving

Finally, prepare the food to serve. After cooking the pork tenderloins, if desired lightly grill the bun. Put mayo on the bun, and top the pork tenderloin with lettuce, tomato, onion, or any other desired toppings and enjoy!
