How to Make a Plastic Flower From Junk Plastic Pieces

I am going to show you how to make a plastic flower from scrape pieces lying around.

Things You Need

All you need is:
Junk Plastic Pieces- You need to have green for the stem, a different color for the petals, and something for the middle.
Models Glue
Petal Template
Dremel Tool
Dremel Tool Bits
Safety Glasses

Flat Plastic

Next, you will need to get your plastic to be flat, if it is not already. Use the Dremel Tool and the Sanding Drum to sand off any tabs and make your plastic flat.

Trace the Petals

Then you are going to take the petal template(which you can find above) and trace six petals onto the plastic with a sharpie.

Cutting the Petals

Now, you are going to take your Dremel Tool and cut out the petals with the cutting tool. They don't have to be nice just cut out the outline.

Sanding the Petals

Next, you are going to take your Dremel Tool and your Sanding Drum to sand off all the extra plastic around the petals.

Putting Together the Stem and Leaf

Now you are going to put the stem together. First, take your two long green pieces and glue them together. After, take your leaf and glue it about half way down the stem.

Now you are going to glue all the petals on to the back of what ever you use to go into the middle of the flower. I used an old fan blade.

Final Glue

Finally, glue the stem to the back of the petals. After you do that you are done.
