This instructable will show you how to make a crossbow out of pencils, rubber bands, and a binder clip. It will also show you how to make ammo for it. Please note that you should stretch out the rubber bands before using them for the best results.

Supplies

6 Rubber Bands4+ pencils (some are for ammo)1 small binder1 smoothie straw tape

Take the small binder clip and tie to the pencils facing toward the front of the crossbow like this.

Take a rubber band and clip it in the binder clip and put the ends in the space between the two "wide" pencils (this is the one time you don't want to stretch the rubber band). Then take the smoothies straw and cut to an inch and tape it on. If you are using a pen equivalent to the size of a smoothie straw then take it apart and tie the "case" down with rubber bands.

Ammo

Use pencils.

How to Shoot

First, you want to clip the rubber band into the binder clip, then put a pencil through the straw or pen case and open up the bunder clip.

Trouble Shooting

If the band used for shooting breaks you could tie the end so that it has a knot on each end. If the crossbow won't shot then adjust where the end of the pencil is sitting.
