How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

In this tutorial, I will be be teaching you how to make one of the most famous snacks in modern American culture, a PB&J. Whether you are in a hurry out the door or do not wish to spend a lot of money, a PB&J is a tasty, cheap, and fast alternative to any meal.

Gather Supplies Necessary

1. Plate (I used paper)

2. Bread (Any type, but I use brioche because it serves as an absorbent to the jelly.)

3. Peanut butter (Crunchy or smooth, but I use crunchy in this tutorial.)

4. Jelly (Any type will work, but I use grape.)

5. Butter knife (plastic will work as well)

Optional:

Sink (wash off knife)

Paper towel (wipe off knife)

Take Bread Out and Place on Plate

Pull out two slices of bread and plate them on the plate.

Use Knife to Gather Peanut Butter

Open the peanut butter, and use the knife to gather the peanut butter.

Spread Peanut Butter

Use the knife to completely spread the peanut butter on a slice of bread.

Optional: Wash the Knife Under Hot Water

Wash the knife off in the sink with hot water. (If not near sink, paper towel to clean off knife will suffice)

Gather Jelly on the Knife

Open the jelly and use the knife to gather it on. (same way as you did the peanut butter)

Spread Jelly on Bread

Use the knife to spread the jelly on the remaining slice of bread.

Optional: Wash Knife Again

Wash the knife off again, cleaning the remaining jelly off. (Paper towel will suffice as well)

Combine the Bread Together

Combine the two slices of bread evenly together, creating the sandwich.

Cut Sandwich in Half

Use the knife to vertically cut the sandwich in half making it easier to eat. (you can also cut diagonally or horizontally, depending on preference)

Enjoy!

After successfully doing all these steps, you are ready to devour your sandwich.

Clean Up Supplies

After eating the sandwich, clean the area and put the supplies back. (If you used a plastic knife and paper plate, throw them in the trash)
