How to Make a Paper Hat

Paper is useful for a multitude of reasons. Writing important things down, schoolwork, taxes, ... (I could go on forever). But I wanted to use paper for something fun. How about a paper hat? YES! I'm going to make a paper hat. Here's how I did it:

Supplies

Paper

Step 1: First Fold

Fold the paper hamburger style (fold the shorter side over to the other short side).

Step 2: Second Fold

Fold the paper hamburger style again (short side over to other short side), but don't leave it folded. You only want the crease the fold makes.

Step 3: Third & Fourth Folds

Find the corners that don't have loose ends, and fold them to the crease in the middle of the paper. You should have a short and wide house looking piece of paper now.

Step 4: Fifth & Sixth Fold

Fold the top sheet over the loose corners, then flip the paper over and fold the bottom sheet over the back.

Step 5: Open the Hat and Enjoy!

Voila!! Now you've made a paper hat that can keep the sun out of your eyes as good as any other. :)
