How to Make a Paper Box

Losing light and small things around your house? In this Instructable, learn how to make this really simple paper box! If you get lost in the process, try to follow the pictures. It'll help a lot!
Supplies
- Tape
- 2 sheets of paper
- A pair of scissors
- Colorful supplies
Designing the Base
Add fun designs with the colorful supplies to both papers. So that way, it will not be hard to design the box at the end. Design as desired or even leave it blank. It's all up to you!
Forming the Base

First, you form a triangle from top to bottom. There should be a chunk of paper left after you form the triangle. Next, you cut the leftover paper below the triangle. This will be handy so that you can make the box a square. You can either throw away the slip of paper or keep it for a design.
Creating the Base

First, use the fold that was made when you made the triangle for a guide. Now, follow the line that was first made when you folded a triangle, like a path. It should make an X when it is opened up. Then, start from one corner to fold to the center where the X's line joins together. Repeat for all the edges. Next, start from the bottom of the line that crosses horizontally and fold the bottom to the center. Do it to both sides.
Now, when you open your last two folds, a triangle-like fold should open up along with it. Then, open up the two bigger triangles that are on the sides. Next, fold the bottom and top flaps to the center.
From the unfolded, there are diamond-like shapes on both sides, bringing the diamond between the first line, which is the line closest, and the next line after the first line. Fold it, but both facing opposite directions. One is facing north; the other is facing south. Then, do the same thing to the same folds you just made, but the other way around. The first one that was facing north is now facing south, and the one facing south is pointing towards the north direction. This will help the paper do the magic.
Unfold the two diamonds, then point the top points of the diamonds up, then gently push the two ends together. There should be an opening in the middle. Then grab the bottom of one diamond and the end of the middle opening, then bend it to let it go inside. Use the pictures if you need help. Then, do it to the other side.
Then tape the center where the points meet at the end.
