How to Make a Mojito
How to make a fun, tasty, and entertaining drink for friends and family!
Tools: (optional)
- Muddler
- Shaker
- Strainer
- Knife
- Pounder glass
Step 1: Cut each of your two limes in half so you have 4 pieces of limes.
Step 2: Add a couple pieces of mint and 2 limes into your shaker and begin muddling the limes and mint (can add ice as well if preferred)
Step 3: Pour a shot of tequila (if you do not have a shot glass just do a two second pour into a glass)
Step 4: Cover the shaker with a pounder glass and shake for 10-15 seconds
Step 5: Fill the rest with club soda (or tonic water), add a little bit more mint and lime and enjoy!
Supplies
- Lime (2)
- Club Soda (tonic water if preferred)
- Ice
- Rum
- Mint
Step 1: Cut Each of Your Two Limes in Half So You Have 4 Pieces of Limes.
The limes will add a refreshing flavor!
Step 2: Add a Couple Pieces of Mint and 2 Limes Into Your Shaker and Begin Muddling the Limes and Mint
This is all based on preference. I recommend 2 limes and 3-4 pieces of mint. You also do not need a muddler, you can just squeeze the lime into a glass and rip up the mint into small pieces.
Step 3: Pour Out a Shot of Rum
Any kind of rum will do, just depends on what you like! Then add the rum to the muddled lime and mint.
Step 4: Cover the Shaker With a Pounder Glass and Shake
Shake the muddled lime, mint and rum for about 10-15 seconds to mix all the flavors evenly.
Step 5: Fill the Rest With Club Soda
As you can see, you have about half left to fill with club soda. You can use tonic water if preferred over club soda. Stir and a couple more leaves of mint and add another lime.
