How to Make a House Shaped Lamp Using Concrete
I'm showing you how I made the House Shaped Lamp using cement. You can make it by making a mold using Foamex, and pouring cement dough into the mold. You can see a brief description of how to make the House Shaped Lamp here, or you can watch a video that shows how to make it in more detail. If you want a manual, you can click the link in the video information.
Supplies
waterproof socket, scissors, wire switch, light bulb, wooden stick, knife, instant adhesive, insulating tape, tape, ruler, nipper, foamex(1mm), paper bowl, mortar cement
Making the Mold
Step 1. Download the PDF in the video information and print it on A4. Cut the Foamex(1mm) parts according to the drawing. And then Assemble the Parts.
Removing the Covering of the Wire
Step 2. Drill a hole for the wire to go into. After inserting the wire into the hole, use nippers to remove the covering of the wire.
Connecting Wires
Step 3. Twist the wires together. Also, carefully wrap each wire with insulating tape to prevent short circuit.
Attaching a Socket
Step 4. Lightly apply instant adhesive to the socket and quickly adhere it to the center of the mold.
Pouring Cement Dough
Pour the mortar cement dough into the mold. After a day, when the cement dough inside the mold hardens, remove the mold using small nippers or a knife.
Done!
The House Shaped Lamp has been completed.
