How to Make a Google Cardboard

Google has created an amazing way to access the virtual world around you, Google Cardboard. I'm going to teach you how to make one of these with just a template, cardboard, scissors, glue and tape. Let us get right into it!

CUTTING OUT

First, you need to cut your template into the relevant pieces. The template, that we were provided with, had darker lines and an outline that we had cut out. This is a simple step.

CARDBOARD

Secondly, you need to get some cardboard and past your cutout template on it. You'll end up needing to cutout the holes, that act as the 'lenses', again. Be careful doing this, you want to be as accurate as possible.

START FOLDING

All the pieces should be stuck together, with tape, as indicated in the pictures above.

Fold the lower piece up and create a box at the lower section, as indicated.

LAST BIT OF FOLDING

You need to fold the box at the end and then fold it again and stick the edges in, so that the bit with the flaps sticking out makes up the lower section. The pictures explains it. You're then going to stick the flaps of the piece that has flaps down. The last piece you'll have will fold around the box and will need to be stuck on at the top, as the pictures indicate.

That's it! You've done it!
