How to Make a Good Yu-Gi-Oh Deck

For those of you who want to play Yu-Gi-Oh, I've come here to save your day. I have not seen an instructable like this yet, and would want to help those of you who want to play. So welcome to the step-by-step guide on how to make a good deck! All you'll need is money and dedication to make a deck.

Welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh!

I will not include how to play Yu-Gi-Oh in this instructable so you might want to read a rule book before you read this. The first thing you need to do is to buy a deck. The best cards I have ever bought from are from Target and I recommend going there. The first thing you need to do is buy a Starter Deck. I know that you may think the tins are better, but trust me, there not. The Starter Deck you have bought will have cards that all work together, like an all fire deck, water deck, "HERO" Deck, etc. That's why the Starter Decks are better than the tins because the tins just come with a bunch of booster packs with cards which will not work together. With a Starter Deck you'll be able to gain an advantage over your opponent. I use to play Yu-Gi-Oh, but have stopped now, but even I started out with a Starter Deck and it did wonders for me. I bought a Starter "HERO" Deck and I beat practically all my opponents.

Your Deck and Booster Packs

Step 2, Your Deck: The Starter Deck you buy will include one 40-Card Deck, one Rule Book(of the latest version), and one Duel Mat. The Duel Mat is basically just a mat where you put your cards when dueling and tells you where to put them in case you were wondering. After I bought my Starter Deck I began to buy booster packs where I would find some other "HERO" cards to boost my deck. If you got a really old sort of Starter Deck like mine, and can not find any booster packs in stores that will help your deck, I recommend ordering some cards on Amazon, Ebay, etc. After I got a bunch of good cards I ended up with a 60-card Deck including nine fusion cards, and some really good "HERO" cards. After I bought Booster Packs I got Rainbow Neos(one of the best cards I have ever gotten), Elemental "HERO" Shining Flare Wingman, Elemental "HERO" Gaia, Elemental "HERO" Shining, Elemental "HERO" Mariner, Evil "HERO" Infernal Sniper, Elemental "HERO" Rampart Blaster, Elemental "HERO" Flame Wingman, and Elemental " Necroid Shaman. I had also collected some of the rare original "HERO"'s such as Sparkman, Clayman, Burstinitrix, Avian, Bladedge, Neos, and Wildheart. So I advise you to collect lots of Booster Packs.

Time to Play!

If you think your deck is finally ready and you are serious about playing, you can find places online near you and duel many people there. If you win there a lot it is also possible for you to enter tournaments and maybe even become a champion! I hope you den't get too addicted though! Hope this instructable helped you!
