What you need：some signing pens、a two-side polishing block

The white side of the two-side polishing stick is very smooth,it is used for polishing.The green side is the rough side,it is used for bruthing

所需材料：签字笔若干、双面抛光块一个

双面抛光条两面都可以用，其中白色面光滑，用于抛光。绿色面粗糙，用来打磨。

step one：Remove the silver layer，and you will get a golden layer.It is copper matiarial.

第一步：除去银色电镀层，得到金色外观说明：使用绿色粗糙面纵向打磨笔头部位，得到金色的镀铜层。横行打磨效率很高，但是容易把镀铜层磨去，需谨慎使用。

The second step：Use the smooth side to polish the copoer layer，and you can get a golden mirror face.

第二步：使用白色光滑面抛光镀铜层，可以得到金色镜面效果

step three：Use the rough side to remove the copoer layer，you will found that it is plastic.

第三步：使用绿色粗糙面打磨掉镀铜层，你会发现笔头其实是塑料材质

The fourth step：use the smooth side to polish the plastic

第四步：使用白色面来抛光塑料

Principle：the pen head is plastic，the golden layer is copper，the silver layer maybe silver、chrome 、nickel or other metal.

In order to get better quality of electroplating a layer，some（not all）matiarial should electroplate a copoer layer first.then electroplating a chrome 、nickel or other metal layer onto the copoer layer.

Corrosion and rust：As copper is eazy to corrosion，the golden pen head will change color.This is a normal phenomenon.But you can patina it to get a special color.There are many tutorials on the internet.Maybe I'll make a tutorial later.

原理：笔头材质是塑料，金色和银色的金属都是电镀上去的。金色镀层是铜，银色镀层可能是银、铬、镍或其他金属。

为了提高镀层的结合力，使镀层更牢固，有些（不是全部）工件在电镀前需要先镀一层铜，再在镀铜层上镀其他金属

腐蚀与生锈：由于铜容易腐蚀，金色笔头一段时间后容易变色发黑，这属于正常现象。不过也可以使用一些人工做旧工艺来得到一些特殊颜色的氧化层。以后有机会再介绍吧
