Wanted to make a glow table for my patio. Decided to use an old picnic table to see the results before I invested in wood to build a table. I also had to use silicon caulk to fill the the gaps between boards.

Supplies

1.Table 2. glow powder 3. two part epoxy 4.clear coat 5.router

Since I used an old table I sanded the table top. I then routed out 1/2 in. random spots to add the glow powder-epoxy solution.

Adding Mixed Solution

Following the epoxy directions, i mixed the two parts together and added the glow powder. I then poured it into the routed out areas. Once cured I wet sanded the over flow

Once the curing and sanding was done I added trim around the table apx. 1/4 in higher than the table top. I than poured the clear coat over the entire table top.

The glow powder is activated by sun light. Here are pictures of my table at dusk and after dark. So excited how it turned out!
