Step 1:This step is pretty straightforward. Just remove all four or five screws. And cut the wires to anything that you wanna leave inside.

Drilling, and Gluing

Step 2: Use your drill or drill press to make a hole. To make sure that I got the right size for the connector to fit in the hole. I grabbed a drillbit and poked it in the connector to see if it was the right size. Gluing it is pretty simple, put the connector on one side and plug it in on the other so it’s holding up on the wall. Now get your hot glue gun heated up and apply glue around the connector. Make sure you don’t get any down in the cracks or inside of the connector itself .

Soldering

Step 3: I don’t have a wiring diagram. But wiring it is pretty simple connect the red wire from the fan to the red wire on the plug-in. Take the black wire from the plug-in and run it to one of the wires on the switch run the second wire from the switch back to the black wire on the fan. Make sure to add shrink tubing so that the wires don’t touch and short circuit.

Final Touches

Step 4: screw the top back on. You can leave the 130 V plug-in for looks. Or you can take it out and add something of your own. Be aware of how many volts you are putting in make sure to not put in more than 12 V on these PC power supplies, if you could fry the fan. Happy making!
