How to Make a Door Knob With FixIts

Sometimes you need a door knob and you just don't have one around.

Ways to boil water :

• Kettle
• On a hob in a pan
• Heat cup of water in Microwave (without the FixIts stick)

Vessel (avoid plastic as FixIts can stick to it)

• Glass cup or
• Ceramic cup (preferred as it retains heat)

Tools:

• Drill and Drill bits
• Screwdriver
• Screws
• Pliers

Four easy steps, Heat water, Dunk you FixIts for at least one minute in the hot water, remove your FixIts, Pinch off what you need.

Mould your FixIts. You can mix colours together to make a more marbled effect.

You can reheat FixIts and shape it as many times as you like until you reach your desired shape. Keeping one side flat as that will be on the face of the door.

drill a pilot hole through the flat side of FixIts.

Drill a pilot hole through the door you want your knob on.

Screw through the door and into the FixIts pilot hole.
