How to Make a Dimmer Switch

In this instructables I will show you how to make a dimmer switch

1)bt136 triac

2)2× 220k/400v capacitor

3)224j/400v capacitor

4)33ohm resistor

5)2× 68k resistor

6)8k2 resistor

7)diac

8)100k volume control

9) dot board

Now we need a project enclosure I make a hole for volume control and a hole for cord wire finally need a 3pin plug and close your box make sure there is no short circuit in the box insulate all wire.

Now our project is complete you can control brightness of incandescent lamps and speed control of ac motor finally the temperature of soldering iron.
