How to Make a DIY Harry Potter Wand

With these instructions you can make your own Harry Potter wand! I really enjoy making these wands and I think you will too. This is a perfect craft for any Harry Potter fan and lover!!

Supplies

For your own DIY Harry Potter wand you need:

- 1 A4 paper

- Brown paint (different shades)

- Glue gun

- Spray seal (transparent)

- 1 or 2 paintbrushes

- Transparant glue

Gather all the supplies you need.

Paper and Glue

Put the transparent glue on only two sides of the paper.

Base of the Wand

roll the paper from one corner to the other corner diagonal. And start rolling with the two dry sides (not with glue). Then your wand should look something like the wand in the picture.

Painting the Base of the Wand

Start painting the base of your wand with a brown shade that you like.

Now your wand should look something like the picture.

Glueing a Pattern

Now grab your glue gun and glue any pattern on your wand that you like, it can be lumpy, swirly, thick or thin. Any thing you like!

Painting Pattern

Now you are going to paint the pattern that you glue gunned on your wand. It can be the same colour as the base of your wand but to add a little more detail to your wand it's nice to use some different shades of brown for your pattern.

Spray Sealing Wand

When you're done painting the pattern get the spray seal and spray it on your wand to give it an extra shine!
