How to Make a Custom Scarf - Change the Decorations on It!

Want a scarf for every season or occasion? Here's how to make a custom decoration-changing scarf!
Supplies

You'll need:
A scarf (A plain one preferably, or you can make a scarf, too, by cutting it out of fabric and sewing the edges)
Scissors
Tape or pushpins
Fabric glue (Let's not mention the fact that I used a hot glue gun instead) or a needle and thread
An old button-up shirt you don't need (That's what I used, because it's what I had on hand, but you can use store bought snaps so you don't have to cut up a shirt)
Decorations you want to put on your scarf. These can be cut out of fabric, too, but it needs to be a heavy fabric like felt. (Don't use really heavy decorations or ones that may fall off, though)
Cut Out Snaps From the Snap Shirt

You can skip this step if you already have snaps. Cut the fabric as close as you can to the snaps, until all are gone from the shirt, and in the end the shirt should look "hole-y." Separate the snaps into two piles; top sockets and bottom studs. The bottom studs are the ones on the black fabric and the top sockets are the ones on the wood.
Putting the Snaps on the Scarf

Next, get the bottom studs to glue to the scarf. I decided to tape the scarf to the door to make gluing the bottom studs to the scarf easier, but you can use pushpins or lay it on a table.
Putting the Top Sockets on the Scarf Decorations

Now, take the top sockets from earlier and the decorations you want to put on the scarf, and glue the colored side of the top socket to the decoration, as shown.
And, Done!

All you need to do now is snap on the scarf decorations and take off the tape, and you have your customizable scarf!
Enjoy!
You could also use this method for a jean jacket or other things as well!
