How to Make a Crochet Dinosaur

This is a tutorial on how to crochet a chunky dinosaur.
Stitches you will need to know:
Sc- single crochet
Ch- chain
Inc- single crochet increase
Dec- single crochet decrease

Supplies

You will need:
Four different colors of yarn (main color, accent color, a pink color for the blush and white for the side eyes)
Darning needle
Crochet hook
Scissors
Plastic eyes
Stuffing

Body

We will start making the dinosaur with the body

Row 1: sc 6 into a magic circle (6)
Row 2: 2sc in each stitch (12)
Row 3: (1sc then 2sc in the next stitch)x6 (18)
Row 4: (1sc in the next two stitches then 2sc into the 3rd stitch)x6 (24)
Row 5: sc into the next 24 stitches w/o increasing
Row 6: 24sc
Row 7: sc 10 then inc into the 11,12,13 and 14th stitches. 10sc (28)
Row 7: 10sc (inc 1sc)x4 10sc (32)
Row 9: 10sc (dec 1sc)x4 10sc (28)
Row 10: 11sc 4dec 11sc (24)
Row 11: 24sc
Here is where I would put in the eyes and the nose and the blush
Row 12: 24sc
Row 13: (5sc inc)x3 5sc (27)
Row 14: (6sc inc)x3 6sc (30)
Row 15: (7sc inc)x3 7sc (33)
Row 16: (8sc inc)x3 8sc (36)
Row 17-22: 36sc
Row 23: 30sc chain 6 then sc in the 4th stitch and make the fourth stitch your first stitch (36)
Row 24: 36sc
Row 25: (8sc dec)x4
Row 26: (7sc dec)x4
Row 27: (6sc dec)x4
Here is where I would put the stuffing in
Row 28: (5sc dec)x4
Row 29: (4sc dec)x4
Row 30: (3sc dec)x4
Row 31: (2sc dec)x4
Row 32: (1sc dec)x4
Row 33: 4dec
Cut a long string and tie off and connect the 6 stitches together and tuck in the string into the inside

Tail

There will be a hole in the back of the dinosaur and at should have 12 stitches around the circumference.
For row 1-3: you will sc into the 12 stitches
Row 4: (3sc dec)x4 (9)
Here is where I would start stuffing the tail
Row 5: (2sc dec)x3 (6)
Row 6: 3dec (3)
Sew the stitches together and tuck in the string and you are officially done with the body.

Arms

Make a magic ring with 3sc
Row 2: 3inc (6)
Row 3: (sc inc)x3 (9)
Row 4-10: 9sc
Here is where I would stuff the arms
Row 11: 4dec 1sc
Sew the stitches together and tuck in the strings

Legs

Start with a magic ring and put 6sc in it
Row 2: 6inc (12)
Row 3-10: 12sc
Row 11: 6dec
Sew the stitches together and tuck in strings.

Spikes/claws

Claws: Chain 2 then sc into the back of the first chain.
Spikes for back: 3sc into a magic ring
Row 2: 3inc (6)
Row 3: (sc inc)x3 (9)
On one the the spikes leave a long sting to sew them on.

Sewing All of It Together

Connect the arms and legs on the sides
Connect the spikes on the back of the head to the tail
Connect the claws onto the arms and legs
