How to Make a Creme Brulee Latte

Have you ever watched the baristas at Starbucks, or maybe your local coffee shop, and wondered how they make so many different drinks? The truth is, making coffee drinks is very simple and fun! I have been a barista for over a year, and today I am going to show you how you can make your own latte at home! This Crème Brulee latte is one of my personal favorites, and it is perfect for a cold fall or winter day!
Supplies

Things you will need: Espresso machine, milk, milk pitcher, vanilla syrup, sugar, mini flame torch, whisk, coffee mug.
Steam 12 Oz. of Milk

First, take the milk pitcher and steam 12 oz. of milk using the espresso machine’s steamer. I usually like to pour hot water into the mug so that the cup is warm before I pour the espresso shots.
Pour Shots of Esspresso

Next, pull a double shot of espresso. Then, pour out the hot water and pour two shots of espresso in the mug. After the shots are in the mug, mix two pumps of vanilla sugar in the espresso. Pour the milk over the espresso until the mug is full.
Sprinkle Sugar

Then, once the steamed milk, espresso, and vanilla are combined, simply sprinkle sugar on the latte until the sugar covers the entire top of the latte.
Use Mini Torch to Toast Sugar

Lastly, use the mini torch to lightly toast the sugar until it is a warm brown color. Enjoy!
