How to Make a Cosmopolitan Cocktail
This is the traditional cosmopolitan recipe, it is cool, satisfying and refreshingly tart. It looks stylish, can be made quickly and is very handy for entertaining and functions, not to mention it is deliciously good to drink.

YOU WILL NEED
Martini glass, ice, cocktail shaker, sharp knife (for twist)

INGREDIENTS

• 45ml vodka
• 30ml sour mix
• 30ml cranberry juice
• 15ml cointreau
• twist of lime or lemon

METHOD

1. Fill martini glass with ice to chill, set aside.
2. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.
3. Tip out ice from martini glass.
4. Strain drink into glass and garnish with a lime or lemon twist.

Another common variation of the traditional cosmopolitan is to substitute lime cordial for sour mix for a slightly reduced 'bite'.
