OPTIONAL Basics of Tinkercad
Hi! This is a quick minitutorial on how to use tinkercad! Remember, this is OPTIONAL , so you don't have to do this. I would recommend doing this if it's your first time using tinkercad. Let's get started!
When you click on a shape, you can stretch or enlarge your shape to many different sizes. You can rotate it with the arrows postitioned in a semicircle when you click it .
To get different shapes, use the shapes library when you click the "basic shapes" row
Scrolling down will give you more options
To put something somewhere, drag it to where ever you want
To raise something to a certain height, use the cone on top and drag it to your desired height
To color something, click the solid option and then you can color something
To export the model, click export and then you can export as .obj,.stl, and .glb for 3D printing and you can export as .sfg for lasercutting . To export straight to your 3D printer, you can click "3D print" and it will have a list of printer brands that you can export to . To export as a schematic for Minecraft, you can do that by clicking the pickaxe icon and click export there

Start Outline
Using cubes, make the base of your city. Make roads and leave space for parking lots and things like that.
Also, make the outlines of your buildings and leave it like that. You can copy and paste shapes to make it easier.
Buildings/road
Make your buildings to whatever size you please. Be sure to make them scaled to whatever else you put in so it looks good. Make your road to be level to a height that you're comfortable with what you've made. Add lines to divide the road if you wish. If it's glitching, don't be worried , it's perfectly normal for that to happen
Vehicles
Use round roofs, tires , and cubes, make whatever vehicles you want and place them onto the road. Be sure not to leave them floating or else they won't print well
Roof Attachments
Add A/C units, logos, fans, and other details to make your buildings look nice from the top. Don't just have 1 thing, make many!
Filling in the Gaps
Put whatever you like in the empty spaces . Ideas could be; Bus stops, lampposts, phone booths, but if you run out of ideas, just stuff tons of trees in there . :) Feel free to modify my design and add many different ideas in. The sky's the limit with this one!
3D Print Time!!
Load your model onto your 3D printer and print it out. I used a Makergear M2 printer with gold fillament but you can use any color you like on any 3D printer . Your finished product should look something like the image shown . Happy Printing!
