The items you will need I order to compete this activity is a cup, milk, ice cream, ice cream machine, chocolate, and paper towels. I have all these things located at my job at an ice cream place.

Add 1 Inch of Milk

The first step to making a chocolate shake is grabbing a cup and adding milk to the bottom. I grabbed a small cup because it is the most popular size ordered. The milk is made out of vanilla ice cream mix and cold water. In an ice cream setting job, it is always pre-made, so the ice cream makers don’t have to worry about that. Pour about an inch of milk into the cup. It does not need to be precise and can turn out if slightly more or less is added. This just effects the consistency and thickness of the shake.

Add One Pump of Chocolate Syrup

One pump is the average amount to add for a small shake. It can differ depending on the size of cup. It does not need to be exact, but will turn out best if close to only one pump is added.

Fill the Cup to the Top With Twist Ice Cream

If twist ice cream is ever not working, it is also okay to use vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Twist ice cream is just a happy medium and works the best.

Wrap the Cup With a Paper Towel

I prefer to take three scares and fold it twice, once in each direction.

Mix the Shake on Mixer

When mixing the shake it supposed to start on the lower speed so it doesn’t splash on you. You can increase speed as you mix. After the shake is fully mixed, you can slowly pull it off the mixer while maintaining speed so the ice cream does not stay stuck on the mixing pole.

Wipe the Cup Clean

Now that the shake is completely mixed, take an extra paper towel and wipe off the sides of the cup. At this moment it is time to analyze how tall the shake liquid goes up on to the cup. If it is too low, it is necessary to go back, add more ice cream, and mix again.

Put a Lid on and Enjoy

The shake is now complete and ready to enjoy.
