  • First, you're going to want to engrave your design. You're going to be creating a mold from this cute so you want it to be fairly deep. Think about how you want your chocolate bar to look and create each layer accordingly.

  • Make sure each layer is cut out evenly.

  • Next, cut the mold wall for when you pour.

  • Use a heat source like a torch to lightly heat the mold. This will help the edges of the design to have a softer look and come out of the mold easier.

  • Next, glue all of your layers together. *This will be the 3D version of what your chocolate bar will look like.
  • While the bar dries, assemble the mold walls.
  • Make sure to hot glue the edges silicon doesn't leak through.

  • Once the mold wall is complete, apply a mold release. We used spray paint but anything food safe is preferable.
  • Mix together silicon.
  • Time to pour! Pro tip: Stream in high and thin to avoid air bubbles. Pour on the side rather than in the center.

  • Once silicon has cured, you can remove your object.
  • Any imperfections or clean up from your mold can be fixed with an Exacto knife or cuticle scissors.

12. Now it's time to make your chocolate bar!

13. Create a double boiler by filling a large shallow pot with some water. Place a smaller pot in the large pot with water and add the chocolate into the smaller pot.

14. Continuously stir chocolate so it doesn't burn.

15. Once the chocolate is melted, pour it into your mold as evenly as possible.

26. Use a straight edge to remove any access.

  • Place the chocolate mold into the freezer to cool and set.
  • Once the chocolate is set, demold and wrap!
  • Distribute your chocolate to impoverished children and host them at your wildly dangerous chocolate factory!
