How to Make a Butterfly Origami Bookmark
this is a super simple and customizable butterfly bookmark, with barely any materials!
Supplies
paper (colored, plain or printed), glue, markers (optional)
Fold #1
take your paper and fold it in half
2nd Set of Folds
fold the folded paper in half and open to get a line in the middle.
fold the first corner into the line made like in the second picture. repeat on the other corner.
unfold both corners

this is the trickiest step:
take the first folded corner and fold the entire half into the middle like the picture shows. flatten the half and make a triangle on the upper part. fold it in like in the picture
repeat on the other side

4th Set
take the pentagon made and fold the sides as shown.
make a fold that looks like a triangle on the rectangles that should look like the picture. repeat on the other side.

Final Folds
turn the paper upside down. take the top part and fold out as shown. repeat on the other side for both the wings.
glue the wing to the body.
there should be a pocket made- dont glue it closed! that’s where the paper will go

Decoration
colour the butterfly in any pattern you want- i went with a blue-ish pattern

now you can put it in a book and use it as a bookmark!
