First, if you don't have scissors, tape, or string, go to Hobby Lobby and buy these materials. These bracelets are completely customizable, so you can choose any three colors you want.

Lay Out the Materials

Secondly, make your materials easily accessible.

Measure the String

Next, pick up one of the strings, unravel it from the roll, then wrap it around your wrist. Make sure to add about an inch and a half of string to make sure you have enough room to tie your bracelet.

Cut the First Piece of String

Now, hold where the string ends on your wrist and use the scissors to cut the end that is still connected to the roll.

Next, pick up the cut piece of string and lay it on a flat surface. Grab the other two pieces of string and lay them down next to the other string, making sure all pieces are even with each other. Tape all three pieces of string down so they will not move and cut them evenly.

Tape the Pieces

Now, grab all three pieces and put them on the side of a table. Add another piece of tape to make sure the strings won't come undone.

Starting to Braid

Begin braiding the bracelet. To do this, move the string on the right over to the middle string. After doing this, the right string should now be the middle string.

Moving the Strings

Set the middle and right string down, pick up the left string, and move it to the right of the middle string. After doing this, the left string should now be the middle string.

Continue Braiding

Continue doing this pattern of moving the right string to the middle and then moving the left string to the middle until you have about an inch of string left at the bottom.

Make a Knot

Now, tie the end of the string in a knot.

Tie It

Next, carefully take off the piece of tape and hold the string together in one hand. Now, wrap both ends of the bracelet around your wrist. Pick up both ends of the bracelet and tie them in a knot around your wrist.

Congratulations, You're Finished!

You now have an adorable bracelet! With these simple steps, you can make a bracelet to match every outfit or create an anklet!
